LIFE FOR KIDS MUSIC EVENT

From 1pm to 11pm Chelsea and Alisha will be holding an all-day music event including local bands such as Canary Swing, The Tommy Drums, and headliners Will and The People Through the day there will be candy floss, popcorn and even homemade cakes all to raise money for a great charity. Also great chances to win amazing prizes. In aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

NOVEMBER CULTURE CLUB TALK

The November Culture Club talk at the City Museum will give visitors the chance to learn about some of the exotic exhibits on display during the Victorian period. On Wednesday 6th November from 1.10pm until 1.50pm museum curator, David Rice, will discuss some of the intriguing objects that were enjoyed by Victorians and what happened to them. The informal talk will offer an insight into the history of the museums and how Victorian visitors were delighted by an Aztec mask, a scold’s bridal, and other fascinating curios. Tickets are priced at £3 for Adults, with Concessions (over 60’s) for £2. The talk is free to museum members.
