NOVEMBER CULTURE CLUB TALK

The November Culture Club talk at the City Museum will give visitors the chance to learn about some of the exotic exhibits on display during the Victorian period. On Wednesday 6th November from 1.10pm until 1.50pm museum curator, David Rice, will discuss some of the intriguing objects that were enjoyed by Victorians and what happened to them. The informal talk will offer an insight into the history of the museums and how Victorian visitors were delighted by an Aztec mask, a scold’s bridal, and other fascinating curios. Tickets are priced at £3 for Adults, with Concessions (over 60’s) for £2. The talk is free to museum members. You can pre-book your place at the talk by emailing museums@gloucester.gov.uk or by telephoning 01452 396131.
