‘SING FOR SUE’ CHRISTMAS CONCERTS

Concert goers can munch mince pies and sip mulled wine while they sing along with, or watch and listen to, a variety of top-flight regional and international acts including the Bristol Male Voice Choir, a Nutcracker performance from the Russian Ballet, Soprani, PONITA, The No Good Nancies and the Cirencester Male Voice Choir. Tickets are priced from £5 To £10 (depending on guest age and venue), and all monies raised will help Sue Ryder provide care for people with life-changing illnesses. LIFE FOR KIDS MUSIC EVENT

NOVEMBER CULTURE CLUB TALK

The November Culture Club talk at the City Museum will give visitors the chance to learn about some of the exotic exhibits on display during the Victorian period. On Wednesday 6th November from 1.10pm until 1.50pm museum curator, David Rice, will discuss some of the intriguing objects that were enjoyed by Victorians and what happened to them. The informal talk will offer an insight into the history of the museums and how Victorian visitors were delighted by an Aztec mask, a scold’s bridal, and other fascinating curios. Tickets are priced at £3 for Adults, with Concessions (over 60’s) for £2. The talk is free to museum members.
