From April 2014. The Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum tells over 300 years of military history, through soldiers’ stories. See the medals they earned, the uniforms they wore, the weapons they carried, and the souvenirs they bought back from campaigns around the world. Get hands on with digital interactives, try on uniforms and walk through a first world war trench.

‘SING FOR SUE’ CHRISTMAS CONCERTS

Concert goers can munch mince pies and sip mulled wine while they sing along with, or watch and listen to, a variety of top-flight regional and international acts including the Bristol Male Voice Choir, a Nutcracker performance from the Russian Ballet, Soprani, PONITA, The No Good Nancies and the Cirencester Male Voice Choir. Tickets are priced from £5 To £10 (depending on guest age and venue), and all monies raised will help Sue Ryder provide care for people with life-changing illnesses.
